INTA’s Leadership Meeting is where more than 1,000 INTA volunteers come to exchange ideas, attend advanced level educational sessions, conduct committee business and network with colleagues from around the world.
– Working for INTA is enriching and rewarding. You learn a lot from encounters with professionals from all over the world who share INTA’s focus on advocating the economic and social value of trademarks. INTA is an international network that benefits our clients, says Åsa Righard, Senior associate at Gulliksson, who serves on the 2018–2019 Emerging Issues Committee.
Åsa Righard has many years of experience in intellectual property law with an emphasis on trademark practice. She specialises in Swedish, European, and international trademark prosecution and counseling as well as in trademark and copyright infringement, domain name disputes, licensing issues, branding, and name creation strategies and she is a registered European Trademark and Design Attorney and a registered Australian Trademark Attorney.
The International Trademark Association (INTA) is a global association of brand owners and professionals dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property (IP) to foster consumer trust, economic growth, and innovation. The Emerging Issues Committee that Åsa Righard is a member of identifies and advocates the Association’s policy regarding important trends and emerging issues related to trademarks and not covered by other issue committees. The committee proposes policy recommendations to the Board.
