Our sustainability work is rooted in our business – to be the business law firm of choice for knowledge-intensive and idea-driven companies. Achieving our goal requires us to take responsibility and work sustainably. That work cannot be done just once, twice, several times. It needs to be done all the time. From a sustainability perspective, everyone must take responsibility where there are opportunities to influence and contribute.
We work with the UN Global Compact and Agenda 2030, which contains the UN’s goals for sustainable development. We have identified the goals that we believe we can meet and contribute to the most. Therefore, the UN Global Goals are the starting point for our sustainability work.
Health and well-being
We are committed to providing a comprehensive safety net for our employees, we actively promote an open culture and place a strong emphasis on health-promoting activities and benefits. We have put our culture into words and actively promote a permissive workplace.
It is important for us to create long-term relationships with our employees and long-term relationships with our clients. Many of our employees have been with us for a long time, something we value highly. Work-life balance is easy to say but harder to achieve.
We challenge the sacred cows of the industry. We live what we teach.
Many of us have families and leisure activities, and we have the space to accommodate them. Behind every employee is a human being. A person we value very highly. If the person is happy, the employee is happy and then the relationship with our clients will be good.

We strongly believe that education contributes to an equal society and workplace. Skills development therefore has a central place in our business and is a natural part of our employee focus. Regardless of the field of work.
Within the framework of our own Gulliksson Academy, there are blocks that include introductory training for new employees, but also various types of further training as the level of seniority increases. The exchange of knowledge is an important factor. Our competence structure extends across the entire employee chain, enabling senior employees to take responsibility for junior employees.
Environment and climate
Proximity perspective
We want to contribute to a better environment and be a serious player that takes responsibility for a better climate. We have chosen to focus on the areas that are close to us and that we can influence, such as the purchase of materials, the choice of suppliers, our employees’ business travel and the use of our premises. The aim of our proximity approach is to reduce the consumption of natural resources and reduce our own waste.
The location of our offices is strategic, as we choose premises in locations that facilitate public transport. We decorate with the environment in focus, our latest office in Gothenburg has been furnished with 100% recycled furniture. Our office in Malmö is located in an environmentally certified building that meets the high requirements of Breeam Excellent.
We minimize unnecessary travel where digital meetings are possible. For those journeys that are necessary, there are guidelines for transportation mode prioritization.
We work to reduce our environmental impact in our day-to-day operations by working resource-efficiently where we can.

As one of the leading legal providers for knowledge-intensive businesses, we play an important role in both business and society. It is our responsibility to contribute to a better society. We are active on a broad front, providing expertise, advice and general support to entrepreneurs’ ideas and way forward through various association commitments, non-profit activities and sponsorship. New ideas and innovations are significant in many areas and sometimes directly crucial to solving poverty in vulnerable countries, providing water supply where it is not possible today, and for new cures for serious diseases to become a reality.
Sweden has a climate conducive to innovation and holds a leading position in the global innovation index. It is natural for us to be active in an innovative environment where we can help companies make the most of ideas and inventions. To enable valuable and sustainable advice for our clients, we must also provide sustainability for our people.
