When the Vodka producer Purity Vodka noticed that their competitor, Absolut Vodka used Purity’s registered trademark and company name Purity, they felt obliged to initiate court proceedings to enforce their rights in Sweden and internationally. After nearly two years of dispute, the parties have now settled the case outside court.
